What to Use Instead of a Night Balm

What to Use Instead of a Night Balm

We know that there are many fans of night balms, but they can be too rich for our skin, and so instead we suggest using different face products. At Nakin we are fans of balms for the lips, but not when it comes to using one as a moisturiser. An oil or cream has a much better consistency for our skin to absorb, whereas a balm tends to sit on the surface more.

Our natural anti-ageing face products collection has everything that you could need in a skincare routine, however, we do not have a night balm in our range. Instead, we recommend using our Revitalising Face Oil, which gives similar nourishment and care to a good natural night balm. Our products are for day and night use, so you can use our face moisturisers, eye cream, serum and face oil at night, instead of a night balm. The face oil is the most similar to a night balm and what we would recommend using as an alternative. You can find the face oil with everything else in our range here.

What to Use Instead of a Night Balm

Our Revitalising Face Oil is the perfect alternative to a night balm, offering lightweight yet deeply nourishing care for your skin. Unlike heavier balms, the face oil absorbs quickly, delivering hydration without leaving a greasy residue. Packed with natural, skin-loving ingredients, it helps to rejuvenate and restore your skin's natural radiance while you sleep. Its breathable formula allows your skin to recover overnight, promoting a smoother and healthier complexion. For those seeking effective nightly skincare without the weight of a balm, our Revitalising Face Oil is an excellent choice.

Why Use a Face Oil?

While face oils may seem like an extra step in your skincare routine, they can actually provide many benefits for your skin. Here are some reasons why you should consider incorporating a face oil into your nightly regimen:

  • Hydration: Face oils are packed with nourishing ingredients that deeply hydrate the skin. This is especially beneficial for those with dry or dehydrated skin.
  • Anti-ageing properties: Many face oils like ours contain antioxidants rich ingredients that help to reduce fine lines and wrinkles, promoting a more youthful appearance.
  • Skin repair: The natural ingredients in face oils can help to repair any damage on the skin's surface, such as sun damage or environmental pollutants.
  • Acne-fighting and overall calming: Contrary to popular belief, face oils can actually help combat acne. Oils like jojoba have anti-inflammatory and antibacterial properties that can reduce breakouts and soothe irritated skin.

Face oils are also versatile in their application. They can be used with a moisturiser and serum when needed. Many people worry about using oils on their face, fearing that it will make their skin greasy or cause breakouts. However, this is not the case if you choose the right oil for your skin type and use it correctly.

When incorporating a face oil into your skincare routine, it's important to choose one that is suited for your specific skin type. Oils can range from light and non-greasy to heavy and rich, so it's important to find the right balance for your skin. Our Revitalising Face Oil is designed for all skin types, and offers kind and nourishing skin rejuvenating.
