Can You Remove a Cleansing Milk with Water?

For some reason cleansing milks and their use can be a bit of a mystery to us, when it comes to how to use them, and how to remove them. This probably comes from them being a lotion which is unlike many facial cleansers that tend to be a foaming product, or a liquid, oil and balm in more recent times. Cleansing milks like our Advanced Cleansing Milk are oil based, and so cannot be removed with water as easily as a face wash, however, most of them like ours can be removed with water. Find out more about this below.

Can You Remove a Cleansing Milk with Water?

Our cleansing milk is just one of our natural anti-ageing face products which we try to make as simple and easy to use as possible as many of us have busy lives. and so a quick, easy and effective skincare routine is essential. We know that being able to remove our cleansing milk with water is a huge benefit for many.

We feel that some of us can be put off using a cleansing milk, as they can seem complicated and time consuming to use, however, this need not be the case. A cleansing milk can be removed with water like many other products, although you might need to spend a bit of time massaging it away with your fingers, or a cloth. This is really beneficial to the skin on our face and neck though, as it provides a mini massage which gets everything flowing and is therefore a real complexion booster.

How to Remove our Cleansing Milk with Water

You can take our cleansing milk off with water and it is for morning and evening use. It is oil based so the water can be kind of massaged onto the skin to remove it. Or you can also take our cleansing milk off when in the shower, using the power of the water stream. Another option is to remove the milk with a wet cloth, or wet cotton wool. This is the method that we recommend for our cleansing milk, for other products please read their unique directions.

Why Removing a Cleansing Milk with Water is a Great Way to Cleanse Your Skin

Removing our Advanced Cleansing Milk with water is an excellent way to cleanse your skin as it combines the nourishing properties of the product, with the refreshing feel of water, that is easy to fit into your routine. The cleansing milk is designed to gently lift away impurities, makeup, and excess oil without stripping the skin of its natural moisture. When rinsed with water, your skin feels rejuvenated and clean, achieving a balanced and hydrated finish. This method is not only effective but also suitable for a variety of skin types, including sensitive skin. By incorporating this cleansing routine, you ensure your skin remains soft, supple, and is ready for the next steps in your skincare regimen.

In addition to using a gentle milk cleanser, it's also important to practice proper cleansing techniques for optimal results. This includes using lukewarm water instead of hot water, as hot water can strip the skin of its natural oils and cause dryness. It's also recommended to use your fingertips or a soft cloth when massaging the cleanser onto your face, rather than harsh scrubbing motions which can irritate the skin.

Another tip is to double cleanse at night, especially if you wear makeup or sunscreen during the day. Double cleansing involves using an oil-based cleanser first to remove any makeup, then repeating or following by a water-based cleanser to deeply cleanse the skin. This ensures that all traces of makeup, dirt, and pollutants are thoroughly removed from the skin before going to bed. At Nakin we have a full range of cleansers for this, and you can see our full range of cleanses online at www.nakinskincare.com
